running in circles is the only way forward. CRAFT CIRCLE Craft Circle Circle is our sustainability initiative. It is an integral thread that runs through everything we do, from design to delivery and beyond. Its purpose is simple: To encourage conscious choices that minimize the environmental impact of our products. Our sustainability initiative is connected to four of the Global Goals in United Nation’s agenda 2030, chosen for their relevance to our business and our chance to contribute toward them. These four goals guide how we design, produce and distribute our products, how we extend the product lifecycle through circular options and how we collaborate with partners and organizations for a more sustainable tomorrow. The goals have inspired us, as a company and as a brand, to set our own ambitious climate goals for the future. By 2030, our goal is to reduce carbon emissions from our total operations by 50% from the base year of 2021. To achieve this, one step is for all Craft products to be fully made from more preferred materials (recycled materials, e.g.) and more sustainable production methods. Currently, 68% of our products are partially made from more preferred fibers. In addition, most of our packaging are made from more preferred materials such as recycled plastic and FSC®-certified paper. We are also working to find ways of reducing unnecessary packaging materials. In terms of shipping, we have set a goal to reduce our emissions from air freight as of 2025. Design for the long run. To us, this means creating functional and innovative products that are developed for a clear purpose, made from durable and sustainable materials, and manufactured according to a high-quality standard to facilitate extended use and recycling. Part of this process has been to develop our Craft design principles. To protect our shared arena, we also collaborate with organizations such as RISE Chemical Group to ensure that no prohibited chemicals are used during production.
